Caroline Muthoni

Ms. Caroline Muthoni is the ENBEL Project lead at The Aga Khan University. 
Working at the Institute for Human Development, Caroline handles all project related activities including being part of the Climate Health African Network for Collaboration and Engagement (CHANCE) planning committee. 
Caroline has extensive experience working in health research and programs for different thematic areas including HIV/AIDS, social justice, WASH, urban development, sexual reproductive health and rights, nutrition, population health and most recently climate change and health.
She been involved in implementing and coordinating qualitative inquiries, cross-sectional studies and RCTs. 
In addition to her work in the ENBEL project, Caroline has contributed to community-based research projects which aimed to better understand the effects of increasing ambient temperatures on the health of pregnant women and their newborns.
Her focus right now is to contribute towards addressing climate and health issues in Sub-Saharan Africa through scientific research.
