
Dr Vincent Pagiwa
Dr. Vincent Pagiwa is a public health researcher at the Okavango Research Institute, University of Botswana.
He is also a FAR-Leaf research leadership fellow at the Future Africa Institute of the University of Pretoria and an interim Secretariat of the Climate Health African Network for Collaboration and Engagement (CHANCE network).
Dr. Pagiwa is experienced in health policy analysis, evaluation of health programmes, health systems strengthening through systems thinking approach, disease mapping and stratification, and climate change and health nexus.
He published significantly in the area of public health and acquired research grants from local and international funders; the most recent being The Horizon 2020 ENBEL project funded by the European Union.
His role in the ENBEL grant is focused on co-leading the establishment of the African regional mechanism for networking and collaboration on the climate-health nexus (The CHANCE network).
